As owners of Ilita Lodge we are passionate about the hospitality industry and our beautiful environment, and love when travelers both local and international get to have some memorable experiences visiting South Africa, and more specifically the Garden Route.

With 12 lodge rooms and 7 self-catering units, Ilita Lodge offers a choice of accommodation types to suit your needs. Choose a luxury bed and breakfast room in our Lodge or opt for a more casual self-catering apartment for you and your family.

A relaxed and fully-catered traditional braai under the stars in our open-air lapa is a favourite with our conference guests or work with our catering team to create a custom menu for your special day.

Making special memories for 15 years
Guests have enjoyed our hospitality for almost two decades since Ilita Lodge opened as a 10-bedroom guesthouse in 2006. We have since expanded our rooms and facilities but our personalised and cheerful service has remained as good as ever. Find out what previous guests have had to say!
Changing Lives
We also have a vision of community transformation and development, and Ilita Lodge was bought for that very purpose in 2015 - to become a financial engine for our partner foundation, the Wonderful SA Foundation. To date Ilita Lodge has partnered with the Wonderful SA Foundation for multiple community projects, employs a number of people that came through the Foundation's training and mentoring programs, and actively assists in transformation projects where possible.
