Cango Caves
9km from Oudtshoorn lie the spectacular underground wonder of the Klein Karoo – the Cango Caves. Situated in a limestone ridge parallel to the well known Swartberg Mountains, you will find the finest dripstone caverns, with their vast halls and towering formations.
The Cango Wildlife Ranch
The facility has been in existence for 30 years and currently comprises of over 90 different species of animals and 100 full-time staff. They provide guided tours which are fundamental in their education programs, giving each species a voice, and enlightening the public on animal and environmental issues.
Meerkat Adventures
Meerkats are part of the so-called Shy 5 which also includes the bat-eared fox, the aardvark, porcupine and aardwolf. The meerkat tours last between 2-3 hours and booking is essential. These habituated wild animals are never fed or handled by humans.
